Films that attract the demanding and passionate audience or films that are made with personal styles are also included. * International Forum of New Cinema - this section is the experimental section of the Berlin Film Festival. Films from distant countries and films that are have experimental forms belong in this section. * Kinderfilmfest - films that are made and aimed for the young audience belong in this section. * Perspektive Deutsches Kino - features German cinema productions that are exciting, thematic and has stylistic trends belong on this section. * Retrospective - this section puts all the film festival's contemporary films on its historical context. * Homage - this section has the same aim as the retrospective section. The only difference is that this section is devoted to great actors and actresses and presents the actors or actresses' works.
