Overall quality of calls made on a broadband phone line is as good as a regular telephone with a few exceptions. Your choice of area code is also available, although most people choose to keep the one encompassing the area in which they live. If you have lots of family in a different area code, you have the option of choosing a number whereby it will cost them less to call you. In order to have access to a broadband phone line you really only need two things. One is an adapter for your broadband Internet connection and the second is a telephone.
