Causes of Cerebral Palsy: -
The cause of cerebral palsy has not been definitely identified, but it ha been linked to the history of both, the mother and child and also the accidents that result in brain damage. The cerebral palsy diagnosis is usually made shortly after birth, but it could show up in the later stages of childhood. One of the main reasons or a cerebral palsy is hemorrhage into the ventricles of a human heart. But there are other causes also that could cause an infant or an adult, the cerebral palsy. In addition to less supply of oxygen, tumor and other degenerative diseases could also be one of the major reasons. A spastic cerebral palsy could be caused due to the motor region of the brain being affected. Recent evidences suggest that birth asphyxia can be a manifestation in some cases of antenatal disorders that lead to cerebral palsy. Accidents could also be one of the major reasons for a cerebral palsy in infants as well as adults.

Brain trauma, infections to the nervous system and vascular problems are one of the major physical disorders that could cause cerebral palsy in the adults. Genetic cases should also be considered. Also during paralysis attack, the brain of the person could get affected and that could be a life long effect on the brain. Thus an adult could also suffer from the cerebral palsy. Sometimes physically there is a cleft in the brain of that person due to which the disorder is caused.

These could be the various possible reasons causing a person the disorder, but the effects could be minimized even if they could not be cured totally. Guidance from the experts and a good care of these patients could see them live their lives almost like all other normal human beings.
