The symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome are not constant. The symptoms can come and go or they can stay with a person. The chronic fatigue syndrome is also very difficulty to diagnosis because there is no lab test available to diagnose it. As it is stated, the prolonged tiredness is the foremost symptom of chronic fatigue syndrome. The tiredness of the patient may come and go, but in some rare cases the extreme tiredness never goes away. Before a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome is made this tiredness should go on for at least 6 months. The affected person may feel like having flu. The other common symptoms include forgetting things or having a hard time focusing and muscle pain or aches. Affected person may also feel headaches, sore throat and tender lymph nodes in the neck or under the arm. Some of the patient also reports the symptoms of constant cough and depression. Treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome: Unfortunately, there is no treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome. But there are things you can do to ease your symptoms and deal with your tiredness. As a treatment some pain relievers and antidepressant drugs can be used to ease the pain. Regular exercise can also help you against this disease. It is also seen that the symptoms get better with complementary or alternative treatments, such as massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, yoga, stretching, or self-hypnosis.
