There are general area maps however, available through the Distribution Control Department, U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office in Washington, D.C. * The area of the Bermuda Triangle, basing on the dimensions between the area of the apexes of the triangle is approximately 500,000 square miles of the Atlantic Ocean. * The Gulf Stream influences the currents throughout the Bermuda Triangle. * Most of the ships and aircrafts lost were not even anywhere near the Bermuda Triangle. * The Bermuda Triangle is not actually a triangle, and does not even have a definite shape and official boundary. * The Bermuda Triangle is both windy and sunny and has a temperature ranging from 60-100 degrees. * The winds in the Bermuda Triangle are usually around 10 miles per hour. * There has been no known proof that the Bermuda Triangle has sucked in the supposed 66 airplanes and ships.
