Salt Kettle House in Bermuda

Known for its hospitality with a personal attention offered to its guests, the Salt Kettle House in Bermuda has been one of the well- loved tourist destinations in the island. Maintained by British- born, Hazel Lowe, she ensures that all their visitors are met at the airport by a taxi.

The lady entrepreneur is a native of Kent in England who was previously practicing her profession as a nurse. She is a widow of Robert Lowe who really hails from the island. In 2000, she was named Hotelier of
the Year as well as her property bagging numerous awards.

Upon arrival at the Salt Kettle House in Bermuda, the owner herself will take you to the lounge and serve refreshing beverages as she will take out her map of the island. She will then casually converse about her personal recommendations on the interesting sights and activities around so your vacation getaway will be a replete.

Breakfast at the Salt Kettle House in Bermuda will take you to different corners of the globe as they provide meals in either, American, British or Continental. Dining can be greatly enjoyed when you prefer to go to the porch that has a panoramic vista of the Hamilton Harbor. There is also the comfy den that has a fireplace as well as board games and book collections that you can use at any moment that you want.

Though it may not be as big as the other hotels, the Salt Kettle House in Bermuda also has various accommodations that you can choose from. There are cottages that is good for 2- 4 individuals as well as apartments for 2 people. Each of the rooms has facilities for cooking except for those that have double bed spaces. Those that will be staying in those have an access to the kitchen where a staff named Hazel will introduce you to Lindo's Family Foods grocery so you can stock up your own food.

Air- conditioning is also placed with your own private bathroom. When you are in a lazy mood, you can simply relax in the garden patio that is away from the hustle and bustle as you feast on the grilled munchies such as barbeque provided. If you want to explore the small country oozing with charming natural resources, you can take a short stroll from the nearby wharf where there is a ferry ride to the capital city of Hamilton. The likes of Railway Trail, Paget Marsh and Elbow Beach as well as Belmont Hills Golf Club are just a five minute drive from the estate.

It may not have any internet access but that will not matter as you will be charmed with its tranquility.
