In other words, the counselor will consider family, friends, and relationships to decide if possibly, links exist in the patients thinking patterns and/or behaviors. The goal is to improve the patient's interactions or separate the patient from influences that will cause them harm. Thus, the therapeutic strategy can help build social relations, emotions, communications, expressions, and the like. Sometimes group therapy is, recommended to help promote social relations.
